Terms and conditions
In force from 2 October 2026. They apply to the initial consultation, programmes, engagements and residential training programmes (retreats). The non-refundable payment and retention clauses are highlighted: please read them before booking.
1. Who provides the services
Services are provided by Daniele Pol through INK LABS STUDIOS LTD, 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh EH2 4AN, United Kingdom, or the company named in the proposal or payment receipt. For any communication: [email protected].
2. Who they are for
Business programmes, engagements and residential programmes are professional training and consulting services for businesses, business owners and managers. By booking them you confirm that you act for your business or on behalf of your company, which is invoiced.
Individual coaching, mindset and the initial consultation may also be bought privately: consumer protections then apply (section 5).
3. How the contract is formed
Initial consultation and programmes: the contract is formed by our written confirmation and your payment.
Residential programmes: a booking holds your place for 72 hours; the contract is formed when the deposit is paid within that time. Without payment, the hold expires.
Prices are those published on the site or stated in the proposal, net of VAT, which is added where due for your country. Travel, licences and third-party costs are excluded unless agreed in writing. Payment is by card (through Stripe) or bank transfer.
4. Initial consultation
The initial consultation (€300 + VAT where applicable, 75 minutes, online) is paid in advance. You can reschedule it once with at least 48 hours’ notice. If you cancel or do not attend, it is not refunded. If you buy a programme, the €300 is credited in full against its price.
5. Programmes and engagements
Coaching, mindset, team, workshops, mentoring, audits, AI projects: the price is paid in full at the start. Monthly engagements (fractional CMO and CEO) are paid monthly in advance. Payments are non-refundable, because the time is reserved for you.
Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. A session cancelled with less notice, or missed, counts as delivered.
If you buy as a consumer, you have 14 days to cancel a distance contract (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the equivalent rules of your country). If you ask us to start before that period ends, you pay for the service already provided and lose the right to cancel once the service has been fully performed.
6. Residential programmes (retreats)
Residential programmes are training programmes for business owners, directors and managers: work on company decisions, leadership and the wellbeing of the person leading. A partner may take part as an integral part of the leader’s wellbeing programme. The package includes everything the programme page lists as included; travel, visas and anything not listed are excluded. The invoice is made out to the company; on request we provide the detailed programme for your accountant.
Places are limited and registration stays open until the closing date shown on the programme page (Chiang Mai 2026: 26 October). About 60 days before the start we confirm the edition and guarantee the venue a minimum number of rooms; when registration closes we give the venue the final numbers. The terms below follow these commitments.
Payment. 50% of the price is paid within 72 hours of booking and the balance by the registration closing date. If you book after the edition has been confirmed, you pay the full price on booking. You can always pay in full straight away. If the balance is not received in time, the place is treated as cancelled.
If you cancel, for any reason (including illness, work commitments, travel or visa problems), we retain part of the total price of the programme, whatever you have paid so far: 20% if you cancel at least 60 days before the start; 50% if you cancel after that date and up to the registration closing date; 100% if you cancel after registration closes. We refund anything you paid above the retention within 30 days; if you paid less than the retention, we ask for nothing more. Each step reflects the costs we have already committed for your place by that date.
Substitution. Up to 3 days before the start you can send another person in your place, free of charge, by telling us in writing.
Resold place. If we can give your place to someone on the waiting list, we refund what you paid less 10% of the price for handling costs.
Credit. In every case, 50% of the amount retained is credited against another residential programme booked within 12 months of your cancellation.
We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation.
If we cancel (minimum number not reached, force majeure, safety reasons) we refund everything you paid or, if you prefer, move it to another edition. We are not liable for costs you incurred yourself, such as flights and visas.
7. Force majeure
If an event beyond our control prevents a session from taking place, we reschedule it. For residential programmes, section 6 applies.
8. Confidentiality
What comes up in sessions stays confidential. For programmes paid by a company, the company receives only what was agreed in writing with you at the start. Data processing is described in the privacy notice.
9. Liability
Coaching, mentoring and consulting are professional services that do not guarantee specific results and do not replace medical, psychological, legal or tax advice. The decisions you take during and after a programme remain yours. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms and any contract under them are governed by the law of the United Kingdom, specifically Scots law, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you buy as a consumer, the mandatory protections of your country of residence still apply.
11. Clauses to note
In the booking form we ask you to confirm separately that you have read sections 4, 5 and 6: non-refundable payments, missed sessions, retentions on cancelling a residential programme.
